About Me

Calling

For years, I have been testing my calling with the three dimensions: aptitude, recognition, and enjoyment. I have shown a natural gift and growth in my ability to teach the Word of God. Other Christians have recognized this gifting and affirmed me with kind and discerning words. Finally, I find great joy in learning and sharing that knowledge with others.

Interests

My particular ministry interest is in what I call "local missions". In the US, there is a decline in those coming into the saving grace of Jesus Christ and enjoying loving fellowship in the Church. The current population of unbeleivers are captured by philosophies that give the individual no purpose or foundation to truly love those around them (postmodernism, existentialism, nihilism, to name a few). I want to have a genuinely missionary encounter with those who don't know Jesus.

Family

Together, my beautiful wife, Faith, and our baby, Hadassah, and I are all undertaking this adventure. This is a huge step for us as we adjust to family life while living across the country from our caring extended family. Your support and prayers are what will enable me to focus on rigorous full-time education while Faith nurtures our home.
